Review: Super 8 Is Super Great!
Super 8 is the product of writer/director J.J. Abrams and producer Steven Spielberg; based on the kinds of Super 8 movies Abrams and Spielberg made as children. It is also strong influenced by the films Abrams grew up watching which were either directed, written, or produced by Spielberg. I’ve explained it like this to my friends who’ve not seen it: It’s like The Goonies, ET, and Close Encounters all wrapped up into one.
Joe and his father don’t really get along after the untimely death of Joe’s mother. A few months later Joe has been helping Read the rest of this entry »

For fan’s of J.J. Abrams re-imagining of Star Trek (like myself) you’ll be excited to hear that Paramount Digital is in the process of developing one hell of a new game based on that version Trek. The game reports to be Co-Op with players taking the roll of either Mr. Spock or Captain James Tiberius Kirk himself. This game is as much an action packed thriller as the Abrams movie was. No boring shifting of starships around a solar system for you, you’re getting a phaser and you get to shoot it at bad guys. In fact if selected scenes Read the rest of this entry »
